CIA Calculator

History

The CIA Calculator is a piece of software that I developed in Visual Basic in an effort to simplify calculating distances and geometric altitudes when claiming records (something I like doing!!).

Don Cameron developed a piece of DOS based software several years ago which has the same functionality but every time I used it I found it increasingly clunky. One of the biggest disadvantages of it is that it can't print under windows although you can capture the results using Ctrl - PrtSc and pasting the image into your favorite windows application.

Updates

The software uses Microsoft's one click installation facilities. If it is not already installed on your computer then you will be asked to install .Net Framework and PrintForm from the Microsoft site. These downloads 'should' install automatically. On each run the software will check this website for the latest version, you have the option of accepting or declining to download the latest version.

Bug Reports & Improvement Suggestions

Please do! I spent a lot of time trying to fix the bugs but there are almost certainly more hiding in the bowels of the code. Please provide as much detail as you can when submitting bug reports.
